No. Not that that's saying anything...paca wrote:does anyone know any of these people?
The makers of the television serial Gooische Vrouwen have itself withdrawn from the competition of TV-festival of Monte Carlo, which this week takes place. They were nominated in several categories.
The spokesman of the producers of the serial: " Particularly the promotional obligations which got imposed on the Dutch nominees were unacceptable and unfeasable.
Endemol, Talpa and the members concerned of cast and crew have decided they can't and won't be able to comply with the long list of obligations and to take the consequence to be excluded of participation in the tv-competition."

I think that one is scking up everyones 15 minutes as she goes a long. She is using a Dyson for it as to not lose any suction as it fills up and she has a spare one running that is 24/7 sucking Alberts money... And she is so busy doing tha now that she doesn't have time to show her face anymore like last year.hibou wrote:Creative it's the ultimate Andy Warhol moment. Absolutely agree and where everyone is a star, there are no stars. Nowadays anyone walking down the catwalk is a supermodel and only those fulltime armcandy are working occassionally as models. I think it all started when the stars took their hairdressers and tailors to the ball. That might be very democratic, but when the king receives the same honors as the servant, why would you even bother with a king? or both of them? It's like eating caviar everyday. It seizes to be special (btw lobster, caviar and truffles used to be poor peoples food. The lobster was only eaten because the fishermen didn't want them to destroy their nets). Famous chefs get drooling over fresh bread, nice butter and a fresh picked tomato still warm from the sun. Unfortunetely those new people are neither caviar nor the fresh picked tomato. They are fresh opened cans of no name brand tomatosoup.creativemind wrote:paca -- i was thinking too "who are these people"? i enjoy a great movie or tv show but it's as if the world of entertainment/celebrity is out of control. anyone can be a "star" and while i like to see new leaps and bounds taken in terms of creativity, the market is has become incredibly saturated. and imo that has taken the excitement and interest away. but then again, i work with these numbskulls in the u.s. and find most of them not impressive in terms of their work or their "me" first attitudes -- it's like for G_d's sake -- YOU'RE A REALITY TV STAR.
