Well, so far the photos look really nice, Albert and Caroline look really good. Caroline has great legs, it's not easy to pull of a shorter skirt with a higher ankle strap for anyone at any age. Both sisters really lucked out getting Grace's legs. Albert looks really nice too, I like him in a dark suit. I should not leave out Ernst, he always manages to look nice as well. They did a good job with the pictures of the race in general I think. I really enjoyed all of them! Madame Concorde nice to hear your first hand account too! I'm glad your favored racer won --that makes it even nicer when you are there watching it in person! Hope to see more great pictures! Did anyone else here attend?

The Grand Prix is not about Albert and Caroline. They are only hosting the race, like so many other places do. It is Prince Rainier anyway (not Albert and Caroline) that really made the Monaco GP a prestigious event. PR was a true supporter of sports.

The Monaco GP like all the other GP is about the F1 manufacturers and drivers and the complexity of the race track, not the whole show around it with the "I want to be seen" crowds.

Lewis Hamilton said his first Monaco Grand Prix victory on Sunday was "the highlight of my career and probably will be for the rest of my life".

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton survives an early collision with the barriers to win the Monaco Grand Prix.

He started in third position, he almost crashed but in the end he won!

Gee Madame Concorde, I was just trying to applaud a positive post from you?

I think everyone is aware of what the Grand Prix is about -- Perhaps Caroline and Albert should have worn bags over their heads! I was just trying to cheer you on with your ENTHUSIASM it is obvious you are a BIG fan of this particular winner this year, but I guess it wouldn't be much of a race if he was in it by himself? As I said above it was nice to see ALL the photos of the race!

Maybe the rain made everyone miserable?

When you see them on the race track, they are all amazing.

I really missed Takuma Sato and the SuperAguris team. Sato is fantastic, very funny, a wonderful boy, a good driver, only Mr Aguri decided to withdraw from F1 for financial reasons. I will always remember my time with the Aguris last year. So unpretentious and friendly. The Japanese don't like being in debt it is not part of their culture so rather than going in debt, they go out. I have to say that they went out in style.

I have not seen anyone that was miserable except for poor Adrian Sutil who was hit by Kimi Raikkonen. I wonder if Ferrari will pay back Force India for this race incident although I seriously doubt it... I don't even think Kimi will get a penalty none the less be banned. He seemed to have lost control of his car when he hit Sutil. I can't really tell if he hit him intentionally or not.

Räikkönen goes into Sutil

now I know why so many pilots made a little detour via St Devote: the commissaires had a barbecue there just before the race and they probably still smelled the meat.

It's so nice to see such enthusiasm and humility in a winner. You don't see it often these days. His comments add luster to the event and brought joy to everyone around him. Glad to see someone like this win.

Take Montreal off, replace with Monaco.

Grand Prix brings human trafficking and sex trade to Montreal: activists

MONTREAL — The Canadian Grand Prix weekend means big business for Montreal's sex trade as partying race fans roar into the city on their annual pilgrimage.

Experts say major international sporting events, such as the World Cup and the Olympics, up the demands for young, female prostitutes.

Montreal's annual high-octane extravaganza is no exception, but many of the sex workers who are used to fill the commercial void are unwilling participants, human rights activists say.

Montreal, sadly, is always a hot bed for prostitution, pun intended. It has had a libertine reputation forever. I doubt the GP changes anything that isn't already in place.

What I find really interesting is 1. how she is holding the puppy. She's holding it like an accessory or she'd never really held a small dog before. Those of us who are dog lovers can spot a "fake" anytime. Plus she isn't even stroking it. Puppies live for that attention and they also want to snuggle up. This poor puppy looks like it wants out of her arms. What a jerk this woman is!!!

She's dangling him! Its paws have no support, and she's squishing him. She'd be a great dog mistress to a robotic one from Japan... :?

hibou, the dog is an accessory. It is exactly the breed you see a lot around here. She can't have a baby yet so Albert gave her a dog (a dog for the dog how fitting, at least the little one is cute) so she can pretend to be a caring person. The dog has legs and is meant to use them not to be carried around, especially with that expression on her face. Or maybe he gave her the puppy so at least one creature in the world will love her unconditionally. Especially when it doesn't have much choice. She should know that a man who gives you a dog has no intention of giving you a ring. Unless he does so after the wedding. Also it means that he knows that there is sth wanting in the relationship and the dog is supposed to cover up for it. I am sure she saw it as sth to try out before the baby, to make sure she can care for another being besides herself. For him it is a gift for a mistress which will make him feel less guilty when he leaves her as she has sth to comfort her. Poor creature. Just glad it isn't another child that is suffering as a pawn in the hands of a scorned woman.

I agree paca and it most definitely is a mistress gift especially because it is a small fluffy dog. I've never heard of a mistress getting a St. Bernard or a Great Dane or even a whippet although if he had given her a retriever it would have certainly made things interesting. No offense meant to any retriever owners. My dog is part retriever, part border collie and part German Shepard. I bet if she and Albert break up he ends up with the dog.

Exactly rara, it would be much better for the dog ending up with Albert then her. I don't even want to think about how she will treat it when he leaves her. Poor thing. That's exactly why animals should not be gifts, but that is also why they work so well with mistresses as they think he wouldn't give them a dog if he didn't have serious intentions, whereas a man wouldn't give it to her if he did. No matter how caring or concerned they may otherwise be, in this case it is just a fluffy cute little thing that will get her off his back for a while about a ring until she sniffs the trick he played on her. It's just another sign of how little he thinks of her and her intelligence. let's hope he doesn't break up with her in Beijing...wouldn't want the little cutie become part of the menu...

 God, no! Before reading the last sentence, I had another vision of Paris Hilton's dog that she had left God knows where... OMG
