OH madameconcorde I'm sorry it was such a bad experience for you and your team! :( but on the upside, you had some close encounters with your hammy, no one was hurt AND i'll bet he remembers you (clapclapclap)

i don't know spit about racing and motor cars, I do know common sense and in my exerience, 99% of the time, most expensive doesn't make it the best. just like a horse race IT isn't the horse its the rider. as far as a cost cap WHAT put a rein on the price of boys toys "I don't think so" ;) why that's that's that's .........socialism  lol

on a personal note with no dog in the fight, I could really care less what happens to Formula 1 after their baleful acceptance of the nazi pervert head of their organization. Ferrari IS racing in my mind, i mean what kid dreams of growing up and racing a Kia ROFL. it seems to me F1 needs them more than the other way around (but i only know what i read here)

all the greens can have a race and all the power junkies can have their race, but to try to combine the two IMO is counterproductive (or am i missing something and that's not the point) i mean fuel efficency and race shouldn't be in the same paragraph, much less sentence. speed baby speed, oh and the cute guys in the tight outfits YUMYUM

oh man i loved those 60's and 70's racing movies....steve mcqueen, paul newman, james garner, elvis

My only concern was the drivers and the cars.

For me it was nothing but a total heartbreak. The race was a disaster for my team: Mc Laren.
For me it was a tragedy. Hammy in the back and no Heikki on the finish line.
I still love them just the same.

As to the cost cap I am totally against it. If Ferrari leaves F1 then Renault and McLaren what will be left?
If the FIA imposes the cost cap on the teams not only do I hope they will threaten. I hope they will leave
.

Max Mosley said F1 could live without Ferrari... I'd love to see that, maybe for the first year when the TV figures slump and the circuits are not as full as now we will see Mr Max and Bernie crying for Ferrari to come back.

Here are my predictions on the teams we will see lined up on the grid at the 2011 and 2012 GP seasons:

SKODA
LADA
TATA
(they could bring in the cheapest F1 car ever, the Nano GP1 with no KERS no traction control, no onboard cameras, no water supply, etc)
DACIA
KIA

Let's not forget Chinas Cherry, which will be a complete copy of the 2009 Ferrari.

Mme C, if Ferrari leaves I hope they start a new FIA in the process one where the Pope doesn't have to live with a Nazi butt slap happy pervert!

OOps!!! Button drove off rather than over to Albert:

He seemingly forgot that at Monaco when you win you drive your car down to where Prince Albert II waits to hand over the trophy, and instead carried on into the pitlane where he placed his car in parc ferme.
He then had to sprint all the way around instead, waving to fans as he did so, which the crowd loved:

 :P

Oh never mind. At least Hammy won the Formula 1 World Champion title he was not even 24 years old yet.
He received MBE from the Queen. He has many more years ahead of him. I am sure we will see him in the first places again.

Surprisingly I did not see the Pussycat Doll.

Maybe she was somewhere in the background though I did not see her at all at the McLaren paddock. She did not not even show up at any of the team's parties.

I think she is too old for him at 30 when he is only 24. He is too young to settle down. He should date girls his age. I wonder what will happen if he loses his celebrity status. She might lose interest and drop him.

There are many good drivers in F1 not only just a few. No one knows who will be on top of the list from one season to the next.

Japanese F1 superstar driver Takuma Sato had to leave F1 as his SuperAguri team went bankrupt.
Sato is one handsome boy! :D

I hope the Aguris will come back! :D

Interesting, was Charlene up there with Albert? I only saw her arriving or leaving? Maybe I missed the pictures, if not I wonder where he stashed her while he was entertaining someone else? :)

Probably  , but he better stop baiting them with his personal life if he wants them to pay attention to anything else. :)

Honestly, be a man, do the skirt chasing behind closed doors, let your wife find you and take you to the cleaners by raising her virtue against yours in spite of the fact the judge will be bought in advance.
When you think of it this way, and this concerns you most Sands as heiress to the torch for Albert, it's best to take Albert out of Monaco to walk him down the aisle come to think of it. Preferably California, I think, where it's right down the middle when things go south. Or Texas, you can always mow him down and get away with it!

Askies, I have a vision of you and I with blue hair sitting on lawn chairs in our old age carrying some wickedly out there conversations, can I reserve you a spot? What press? Here we only have royal bloggers, 3rd degree press. Stick with us! I'm famous in my own head, it's crowded enough sometimes

I'm sorry, but I'm not following exactly where you guys are coming from :? ? Of course I was mostly kidding :). I'm sure every little gesture from him gets taken out of context. I admit I'm sure I have no business playing judge and jury here , but we do it for his own good! :P And Albert has lot of women here (with very good advice) who are willing to help him out?

Both of you ganging up on me after I dispense kind words and karmas? Blue Hairs! :P

I think in Texas the men get away with more than they do in California? Maybe Triple B would know? I was reading a story about some socialite who was on her way from NY to California, her husband had the pilot land in Texas for a few minutes where she was served divorce papers. Apparently the laws are different there? I think she just countersued in California where I think they had been married and had a home. I don't remember too much about them, but the husband didn't want to split it down the middle. They did have grown kids together, so they must have been together for awhile? New York is probably worse for couples where they don't have "no fault" divorces. I hope Albert doesn't ever have to go through a divorce, seriously. :) Especially with someone like Charlene.

Actually in California it depends on what you aquired before your marriage along with inheritance, personal settlements won, etc... which should be yours, but it also depends on how long you were married for and other factors, so not always split down the middle.

I'm sorry this has nothing to do with Grand Prix, I'll poke myself and get back on track now!

Sands, we're not ganging up (and please don't confude Askies)... I just forgot to issue a forum wide memo that I'm prematurely going senile for lack of brain cell regeneration. OOps! They just announced WC & Albert"s engagement!!!
