And I'm serious when exactly? And am threatened with a karma point for what exactly? I love these sidebars that go farther into unknown and unrelated territory don't you? Maybe he is just joking around and pretending...he's trying to silence her, but it's a rude gesture regardless of the circumstance. What do you think?

Oh!!! Now I see what he's doing. Good God that's just rude. He's acting like a pre-school kid.

What I find more bothersome than being immature, is his intent is to silence someone? It's a dismissive gesture and you shouldn't do that to anyone that is not a young child. I hope they were only playing around, it kind of looks that way.

if i didn't know better i'd think the mystery girl was kate middleton. at the same time the gesture is both dismissive and flirty......very odd, intimate gesture to do to a stranger. my hubby and very close friends have been known to do it to me, if i'm on a tear and they want to get a word in edgewise ( he knows if he says shut up, i'd throw something at him and ratch it up a notch)
