When I saw the heavy black stockings I thought of winter stockings. When it's cold -10F or colder and I want to wear a skirt I'll wear the heavy stockings. Maybe to her it was cold.

Belga has a few photos of Charlotte at yesterdays fashion show.

Getty has a nice spread of photos. I think you'd like viewing theirs more.

It's great seeing Charlotte sitting so close to Paul McCarthney.

Triple B, we're going to be at odds again, not with Amber Rose. I knew she was a cutie. But McCartney's mob girlfriend's nose job - eek! Maybe she's in the witness protection program? His daughter's a lost cause, lipgloss or not, a living Picasso portrait. This summer he was in Qc when I was there, stayed in MY hotel and honked the horn whenever he passed by - you can take a guy out of Liverpool, but not Liverpool out of the guy! Embarrassing! Or was it his police escort with their sirens...? Good show though, nice crowd, 200 000 people, no incidents. These are MY people!

Pure People is finally catching on! Yesterday, they featured my Charlotte at the Stella show.
Note to Pure People: focus on her fairy tale from now on, rather than WC's, o-kay?
Then when I annex Monaco, I'll give you better treatment than Bunte

Wow, she looks so much like her mother here, every picture reminds me of one of Caroline's expressions. She is her mother's daughter :D . I like what she is wearing, it looks nice on her--Black tights are so comfortable and cozy and hide so much! For those of you who have not resorted to them on occasion. I am always grateful when they come back in style. I like Salma too, I'm glad she is sitting next to her. :)

Charlotte is incredible cute. So pretty and looking like her mother when she was young. But I don't like her fashion choices. She looks nice in black, but why she chooses black all the time. I did not like her recent outfit, it was weird.

Well, I don't think I could get away with a few of those outfits, but she is still very young and for the most part is able to pull it off. Love the little black suit on her though! She really is her mother's daughter! :)

I think it's a London thing and it's counter-culture for her, who represents a beautiful, sunny place hence the appeal... she is still so young. And maybe black is the subliminal colour of maybe how deep down she misses her dad, IMO. Whatever she does, she could never look macabre, she's too pretty. :P

I'm posting this here since it belongs less in Prince Harry's thread. On the heels of possible new legislature allowing the British royals to marry Catholics, I came up with this compatibility report between Charlotte and William:

Inter-planetary aspects

The following aspects between planets concern the possible relationships between two charts: especially the emotional and romantic relationship, but also aspects on social, intellectual and spiritual levels.

125 Sextile Mercury - Venus

Positive aspect: A relationship which will be agreeable, they will like to speak to each other, have a good intellectual understanding, their tastes will be very similar, they will like to share their feelings with each other.

119 Trine Venus - Venus

Positive aspect: Complete respect for each other's romantic style. They don't easily offend each other and instinctively understand what makes the other person happy. Conflicts arise, but they are generally smoothed over with ease, as there is good will between them. Very good aspect for a successful union. Love, gaiety, understanding.

-118 Square Venus - Neptune

Negative aspect: The attraction is certainly there, but the relationship can lose its innocence quite easily. Venus misunderstands the other and will, without a doubt, be the only one who really is in love. Neptune might be unfaithful or might feel forced to lie in order to keep Venus happy. Venus seems unequipped to face reality.

-91 Square Mercury - Pluto

Negative aspect: A tendency to want to direct the partner's thoughts and ideas. Reading too much into what is said and what is not said. The Mercury person doesn't feel free to express his or her ideas, feels stifled intellectually by the Pluto person.

90 Sextile Sun - Mars

Positive aspect: Pure sexual attraction will unite the couple. They will have an ideal partner. They will be energetic, full of life and can undertake things together on the professional level or travel together on adventurous, unpredictable journeys. They respect each other's goals and drives, and don't stand in the way of their attempts to achieve their goals. Their body rhythms match well, and they share a basic physical bond that is hard to break.

90 Conjunction Saturn - Uranus

Positive aspect: Favorable union, linking invention and originality with common sense and thoughtfulness. They might do great things together.

-84 Square Mars - Mars

Negative aspect: Life together, if this happens, will be full of aggression and conflict.

58 Conjunction Jupiter - Pluto

Positive aspect: A possible union. Your belief systems change and evolve as the result of your relationship. Look at the other aspects to interpret exactly.

-53 Opposition Sun - Neptune

Negative aspect: The Sun will probably suffer in this relationship. Neptune may deceive the other, lie, will promise a fantastic future that only exists in the imagination. Neptune will not be able to live up to these dreams.

I don't know. :?

My Charlotte about to get engaged this summer. I predicted she'd be next. I'm happy if she's happy. I think Alex is smart, especially since the Brit princes were about to let loose, and Alex about to be ennobled.

Much happiness to both!

I'll believe it when the palace announces. There is something about Alex I don't like. I can't put my finger on it but he doesn't seem like a nice fellow. I liked Felix and I thought he really was in love with Charlotte. At 22 she is way too young to take the plunge. She should hold off until she's at least 25. What exactly does Alex do for a living?

He's a gallerista, or guerrila galerist - nouveau genre. Between you and I, I have my reservations however I can see Charlotte senior's (grand'maman) instincts flowing through her by being drawn to an Iranian. Wasn't she part North African? Charlotte is fairy tale material, I guess I want to believe.

Thanks for the info Loulou. Now I'm really concerned for our little princess!!! I wonder what else he's dealing in London!!!! There are a fair number of wealthy Iranians in London some good some not. Who are his parents and where do they live? Charlotte is fairly tale material and for that reason I hope she waits for the right guy to come along. Alex should be just another step in her deveopmentm not the first big mistake. I like Tatiana and Pierre's new girl Beatrice. Those two look like they are good matches. Alex I'm not sure about. On another forum there are pictures of Charlotte riding again. Maybe Uncle Albie needs another athlete for Monaco since he's too old and the boys aren't into it in a big way.

Here's at least the money trail back to Black Jack Dellal:

Grandpa

More to come..

PS: I know Black Jack called Alice back into line after she showed up taking drugs in the tabloids.

. . . back with: (warning: a little acerbic)

But Alex Dellal is basically a rich kid's rich kid.

The main father is Jack Dellal 81, whose estimated wealth is around the 1.2 billion pound mark, better known as "Black Jack" Dellal for his penchant for the cards, became a commercial property tycoon in the grandest sense. Born in Manchester to Iranian parents, no one knows his persian name, and possibly a young Iranian couple stuck in Manchester in 1929 might not have been all too eager to give him an Iranian name. However I like to think it was secretly Jafar, although that would have become Jeffrey. Regardless, Jack received a very very basic degree from Heaton Moor College. A city college. He then built an empire, literally brick by brick, and eventually came to own some of London's better commercial real estate.

Black Jack Dellal is married to Ruanne, a former Miss South Africa, and has nine children, seven from a previous marriage. One of those, is heir apparent, Guy Dellal.

Guy is the consummate useless heir, unable to do anything of remote note, including being unable to screw up his humongous share of the family commercial realty prize. He heads up Guy Dellal Commercial Property. See! Even the name of the company his dad gave him is uninspired! The competition with dear old dad is such that Guy would rather spend months at a time at the infamous getaway for the rich and untalented, known as The Ashram in Majorca, supposedly for the driven A-types who just can't seem to relax. Personally I think Guy is faking it, by going to an Ashram specializing in overachievers, it makes him look slightly appealing and competent. Again, there is so much Dellal money, even mad Guy can't screw this up.

Which brings us back to dear old Alex the son of useless son of Black Jack, Guy. Currently Alex (...) frolicking amongst the authors, designers and painters of our day or whomever is hanging around his uncannily Warhol-esque gallery. One wonders if this is merely to out-do dear old dad, Guy, who was once Jerry Hall's clitoral cling-on.

Personally, I kind of like the whole act of defiant "In your face! Dad!" insolence. It shows Alex is alive.

Somehow, all this seems pretty sad when you break it down, although I am sure the series of fashion model melo-dramas they seek out, to entertain and stimulate their heart muscles, seems like real life to them.

But I keep thinking about that Iranian couple who settled in Manchester in 1929, what they intended for their family, and whether or not they are perpetually turning over and over and over in their graves, likely ever since Black Jack came home from school one day and told them he'd had it, and wasn't going to answer to Jafar anymore, and that they would have to call him Jack from now on.

Thanks Loulou so no wonder the Grimaldis don't mind -- as in Granddad can invest in some of Monaco's real estate. Well at least he's got his own money unlike Charlene. But he does come across as Eurotrash.

To his credit, he's not a publicity seeker. I think old man Jack is surely no stranger to Monaco as it is, especially the casinos. It's the Rolling Stones thing that pops up and drugs, I'm not charmed about. But as you hint, "whoever can cast the first stone.."
