So Mosley gets caught in a Nazi prostitution ring and then Prince Albert and the Monaco Automobile Club will welcome him to town for the GP according to his rank? What rank? That of being a dirty disgusting Nazi sex pervert?

Is it that Monaco's authorities (the Prince, Boeri, et al.) are approving of his behaviour by welcoming him to the Monaco GP with their arms open with the honours, the parties and all else that we will never know of? Will they welcome Mosley pretending as if nothing happened? Maybe they will even provide him prostitutes?

I will say if Mosley is in Monaco for the GP I will consider it as no less than a scandal.

It's the old "honor the position not the man" play on their part. - Not that I agree with it at all but that looks like the game card they've chosen to play- that way if he ends up staying in the job their still in his "good graces" or perhaps Albert has been playing with some of his female friends and so pretty much has his own hands tied behind his back.

Prince Albert is a hypocrit.

If he had some moral values left in him he would say no to allowing Mosley at the GP same as the Sheikh of Bahrain did.

Monaco keeps playing the "big charity and we are officially a catholic country" little game until the day comes when they welcome all these trashy people! Ugly! Ugly! Ugly!

Quote:
Motorsport's world governing body has appointed a barrister to conduct an independent inquiry into allegations about its president Max Mosley.

Anthony Scrivener QC will look into newspaper claims that there were Nazi connotations to an orgy in which Mosley was involved with prostitutes.

The Historic Grand Prix is on full blast. There seems to be no crowds. There are beautiful cars in town aside from the ones participating to the race.

I wouldn't mind playing pick and choose. It would make my day! I'd just borrow a few for the thrill. I would go to Bordighera or San Remo and back to MC and then I would give them back to their owners.

I would do it for a couple of borrowed cars, only my top favourites. Maybe I would just go for a ride around the block for the others!

I am happy that my boy Hamilton made second place and beat Kimi Raikkonen at the Istanbul Grand Prix. I hope he will win in Monaco. He is such a darling sweetheart!

I hope P.A. of Monaco and Boeri will change their minds and not have Max Mosley coming to town for the race.

according to todays paper the ACM has officially announced that Mosley will not participate in any official function at the GP in Monaco. Incidentally Piccini who will represent him instead, is also a member of the ACM admin board (I guess someone is trying to forge the iron while it is hot). It says that this will permit Albert to offically meeting with Mosley (that doesn't mean though he won't meet with him unofficially, does it?). Ah, the power of words...

Aah, the discussions between the two... The mind boggles. The options are limitless: talk about where to get the best prostitutes & escorts, threesomes, some SM and bondage tips thrown in for variation... They can talk all [s]day[/s] week. Mosley might be in the centre of attention and collective (hypocritical) outrage, but I've read some icky stories about Albert too.

Ok, I'll just go and Image myself before someone else starts poking that stick...

BTW, the latest in Mosley's defense is that it is not beneficial to not let him serve his term until 2009, because he's too involved in bucketloads of negociations and deals and it would be bad for the FIA and the deals to pull him off them and let someone else take over.

weird twist to the story *quote from article

*AN MI5 agent has quit after being linked to a sting on motor racing mogul Max Mosley, it was claimed today. The man’s wife is believed to be a prostitute who reportedly had evidence that Mr Mosley had taken part in a sado-masochist orgy.

It is slowly becoming apparent that the background to this scandal is a struggle between Ecclestone & Mosley for ownership of F1:

So Max won't be near Albert after all. Max won't be on the list at the Gala either.

Ecclestone was at first rather supportive though. Mercedes (who hates both) was the harshest critic from the beginning and there where remarks by Mosley (if I am not mistaken) that he believed them to have set him up ...Ah well, they are always set up when they do things that turn out to their disadvantage: Boris Becker accused his mistress of stealing his sperm and Albert was practically saying similar things about Nicole. Mosley thinks that Mercedes send in a few Nazi prostitutes (it can only be Germans, can't it?) and he was just the friendly Brit inviting them in for a cup of tea. Like father like son. And his father was little red riding hood making friend with the big bad wolf, who only wanted to play...

True or not, I can't tell, but this article claims that the arrangements for the "replacement" of Mosley in Monaco were already made in January (i.e. before all hell broke loose) and that they have nothing to do with the Grimaldi's not wanting to meet Mosley. But it made nicer headlines than the truth.

Perhaps the existence of the tape was already known at that point and things were handled quietly it's just that Albert played his cards tight to the vest and waited to see what the reaction was of the other countries before making his position public. If true old Albie is pretty shrewd.

if the report would have been true then I am sure that Boeri, as president of the ACM would have known about it at the time and would have commented accordingly when asked. Instead he said that ACM would greet him as usual.

Mosley stays on as FIA president

Max Mosley has won a vote of confidence to stay on as president of motorsport's governing body, the FIA.

More than a third of delegates did not back Mosley at Tuesday's meeting in Paris but he won 103 of 169 votes.

Mosley called the vote following a newspaper report that he took part in a "Nazi-style orgy" with prostitutes, though he denied Nazi connotations.

US delegate Robert Darbelnet said he was disappointed with the outcome and may withdraw his country's membership.

The manoeuvres of Mosley

A motorsport insider told BBC Sport he felt Mosley's decision not to resign at the time of the initial allegations was "a catastrophic political misjudgement".

And after initially supporting Mosley, F1's commercial supremo Bernie Ecclestone later declared his friend of 40 years "should go out of responsibility for the institution he represents".

wonder with what promisses he managed to do that. But since there are some smaller countries that are not big in motorsport voting as well (like the Vatican), it probably wasn't that difficult. He remains despicable and so are those who support him.
