The Russians have been plagued with so many forgeries Sothebys has had to reimburse - sigh! The shoes are nice. Caroline remembers what it's like to be a real woman. I don't know what's up with uncle Karl these days dissing Audrey Tautou, Heidi Klum... you'd think he'd have a few truths left for Albert's sidekick!? Albert, what can I say? He often looks like many a doorman I've had with the navy jacket and beige or grey pants combo (yawn!)

:D The ballet pics are beautiful aren't they! PA always looks impeccably dressed God forbid PA or Ernest should show up to an event looking like an unmade bed then you'd 'really' hear the news having a field day. But thankfully, PA and Ernest are always the exquistiely dressed to any event!! Pss. Carolines dress is faaab great shoes with that outfit too!!! it was surprising to not see as much jewelry on this outing but she's always in great taste. it was a perfect choice for that new tan of hers!! How they manage to hang on to those terrific tans while the rest of us can't manage more than a crusty burn is beyond me. great job indeed.

I don't think Albert has as much the Mediterrenean/Maghrebian blood as the others. He seems to have an Irish-ish tone IMO

I noticed that too. He had a lot of stressfull things going on in his life, Nicole, Alex, his father's death, stepping up into his new position as the ruling monarch, then Charlene who he had on the back burner, that's alot of stress at once, so you think if he was really happy now he probably would have lost not gained. I'm really hoping he find's a woman that will make him very happy someday. I don't understand why he is holding on to someone if she doesn't make him happy or she isn't what he is looking for.

I thought he looked pretty nice in this photo. I thought the pants looked more taupe and they look to me like a nice fabric? I thought it was a black jacket, navy is good to but maybe I would have done a white shirt with that tie and the whole color combo?. Caroline looks good as always, and they kind of coordinated with the painting and I thought it was a really nice photo of the two of them with the painting, a really nice photo overall.

I think when ever Albert stands next to a woman with class he always looks better. Caroline was a knock out in these photos. She looked like she was channeling her mother.

I concede, it's probably a black jacket and taupe pants but all the same. It's at best a boarding school outfit. Especially since we've seen him in nice Milanese style suits of lighter colours that are always more flattering, and patterns like a glencheck or even a stripe would be cheeky for the whole banking drama. Anything but casual Friday gear, please. Let me find examples..

Canali works for me, but might also look good on Andrea:

and this light beige suit:

I don't know men's fashion, and I'm sure Albert can afford a personal tailor, but whoever he's got, Albert's not listening to him I'm sure.

:D That canali suit was gorgeous... even with that tie. However, PA taste in clothes is spectacular. however, will want to check out the ballesarini site too!! You're right bankers don't get into the outlandish clothes... but neither does PA. Besides he's a royal so he can have somethings casual as well as formal for attire. LOVED the ties PA and PIERRE wore in the belga pics  good job!!

It appears there's a logical explanation for Albert's neglected appearance: his bespoke tailor Louis Sciorra passed away last year and his heirs have streamlined with only prêt-à-porter, and a house label line produced elsewhere. Thank you to my source on the ground  You rock!

 'n-e-g-l-e-c-t-e-d appearance rofl We would wager PA has NEVER had a wardrobe malfunction any day since birth. This guy goes to soccer game in a SUIT AND TIE!!! rofl neglect isn't our wording we would choose, although not attempting to deprive you of your choice of wording of course!!. however, the guy is impeccably dressed to 'everything'. We looked over some of the links on clothing and found some that would seem appropriate for PA but most were simply too casual. however, the newphews would probably look good in most of the casual clothing as they tend to be photographed in NON-formal things like shopping etc?? but great links keep posting them. it would be great to have a section for PA clothes. Although we'd wager if PA would have ever turned up to 'anything' looking like an unmade bed the press would be so delighted they wouldn't know whaaat to make of it, do you suppose rofl

Askies, I know a good optician. Just last week in St Tropez, he walked around with the nastiest combo of top and bottom, with a two toned T and some Hawaian looking shorts (so 80s!) Do I need to bring up that image? I've already vomitted on that one. If I see him once more with a dark solid colour jacket and a pale solid colour pant I'm going to screech!!! Please! One must take their rose coloured glasses whom need to see things in the proper casual dating light! 8)

:D tee hee oh, the beach shorts were cute. however, don't know what was going on with thaaat shirt  . however, shorts were cool. Let's just hope he doesn't start wearing dark jackets with dark pants all the time. PA has Pss. Grace's complexion so PA can wear colors well. Ranier was a fab dresser those pics with thaaat green suit that PA and Ranier had matching were divine.--they really do wear color well. So whatever wardrobe PA wears to any formal function is always pretty cool! we will keep looking at those clothes photos and see whats up!! :D

How about a dark jacket and knee pants (shorts), like they wear down in St. Thomas?

It depends, with knee high socks?

Askies, I'm with you. He does colour well, it doesn't have to be all dark. That's only good in winter. He could do light coloured prints. Anything. He's not hiding his physique with the lame mismatched casual suits, so why not embrace his stature? Nothing is sexier than a man comfortable in his own skin, whatever the size IMO

:D :D  tee hee knee socks??? although he does look cute in knee socks (chuckle) shorts with knee socks really ranks right up there with wearing long pants above ankle length bhaaa hee. just simplay not cool in any str-e-t-ch of the imagination. After all, PA does have a reputation for being one of "the' most impecably dressed men around.(don't know whaaat happened with thaaat shirt thing ?? This guy probably never had a wardrobe malfunction since birth his father too taught his son well!!! in the wintertime under long pants knee sock won't matter; but pleaaaase not with shorts!!! it's like wearing a tie with shorts it simply hmm doesn't work :P
